Naming Ceremony
Naming ceremonies are a fantastic alternative to a Christening; they do not have to be religious (but of course they can have as many religious elements and prayers as you wish).
This doesn't mean you cannot have poems, readings, hymns, religious content and promises made by godparents. You can have all or none of these - your choice 100%.
Plant a tree or a time capsule, light candles, have readings and music. It can be as fun and quirky as you want or as traditional, serious and intimate as you desire.
